surprise baby/disabilty fund

Donation protected
So back in March, I slipped in mud, fell, and broke my right ankle ....both bones, right at the joint. I had surgery and have been doing physical therapy but my recovery is taking a bit longer than anticipated.

My regular disability payments have stopped but I got paperwork to file for an extension, which I did.

This campaign was originally started to help with the shortfall in income that supports myself and my teenage trans son Alex.

And then this happened......

So I’ve been given permission by Alex to update everyone......

Soooo Alex had a surprise baby Friday morning. We had no idea he was pregnant. His periods had stopped not long after starting testosterone and we were told that was normal. Same with ‘movement’ around the abdomen....we were told that muscle spasms were normal for being on T. No morning sickness, none of the usual signs of pregnancy.

He’d been having massive ‘pain spikes’ over the course of a week, gradually getting worse till it got really bad last night. We went to John Muir hospital in Concord early Friday morning and they diagnosed him with a UTI and that the rest of the pain was just normal ‘menstrual stuff’ (not exact quote but close enough). We left, went back home, and tried to manage his pain as best we could.

There were several trips back and forth from the bathroom and finally, he was in there and asked for help. I went in aaaand there was a baby....in the toilet

So yeah...I called 911. They walked me through tying off the cord and wrapping up baby and placenta.

We are now at Sutter hospital in Antioch where he will likely be till at least Wednesday .

So yeah....welcome to the world Keith Darrin Bradshaw
