Dear friends of Dim Sum, Andrew, and Amanda,
Dim Sum needs our help!
Our sweet little friend is currently in critical condition, under watch in a veterinary hospital where doctors are doing everything they can to stabilize her and resolve her neurological issues. At this time, what Dim Sum has is unclear, though doctors originally diagnosed her with a rare condition called immune-mediated thrombocytopenia, with the potential result of blood in her brain, they're no longer sure this is the case. Unfortunately, initial treatments are not working and her platelets and white blood cell count have rapidly deteriorated over just a few days. With doctors baffled, she is now being treated for leukaemia.
This has all been incredible sudden. As you can imagine, this is a devastating time for her family Andrew and Amanda, who have been Dim Sum's loving co-parents and best friends since her happy and whimsical presence entered all of our hearts. Dim Sum is a shining light in their lives and any help that you could offer towards her ongoing treatment would mean the world to them.
Any donation, big or small, will be put towards her current hospital bills and all treatment going forward, including the possibility of an MRI.
