I am Deep Digger Dan from YouTube and will be walking and metal detecting around the entire 6,000 mile coastline of Great Britain in an attempt to raise £50,000 for the childrens charity, Rays Of Sunshine.
This GoFundMe has been set up to raise money for the equipment needed to make this event happen as no sponsors have been found.
The money will be used for essential equipment which include a pull along cart to carry the gear needed, walking boots, a solar power source, a laptop waterproof case and cable convertors and a camera. Luckily I still have a lot of camping equipment from my last expedition of Scotland so the list isn't endless.
I am giving up my entire life towards this expedition which will probably take me 2-3 years but with the right equipment and support I will be keeping everyone updated daily through social media and most importantly through my YouTube videos so people can follow me throughout the entire journey.
Please help me to make this happen. I'm not in this for personal gain, it is entirely for charity but getting this initial gear is essential to make everything go smoothly. I will be putting all my own money into the journey and paying for any food and accomodation expenses along the way.
