Diamond Heist Dinner - Paul Ringel Benefit

Donation protected
For anyone who knows Paul Ringel, you’ll know that Paul is the first person to lend a hand, a prayer or a laugh, often before you knew you needed it. Now is our chance to help Paul and his family and return the favor!

In July 2018, Paul was admitted to the hospital after irregular headaches prompted doctors to perform a CT scan, where they found a curious mass on his brain. Just days later, Paul underwent surgery to remove the mass. While doctors were successful in removing some of the tumor, much of it was found to be wrapped around a major artery and had to be left alone. Additionally, Paul suffered a stroke during the surgery, which required him report to several weeks of Physical Therapy in order to regain regular use of his left side.

After almost a month of PT, OT and rehab, Paul was finally able to return home and start treatment for what had officially been diagnosed as Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive form of brain cancer. Doctors prescribed an equally aggressive treatment plan including multiple rounds of weeks-long chemotherapy and radiation. Through it all, Paul has remained in good spirits, cracking jokes, cheering on U of M football throughout the fall and spoiling his dog, Goose.

Now, it’s our turn to lend a helping hand back to Paul! We hope that you’ll join us for The $100,000 Diamond Heist, a benefit dinner in Paul’s honor. The live show and silent auction will take place on March 16th starting at 6pm at St. Cecilia Church. Individual tickets are $25 and can be purchased at paulringelbenefitdinner.eventbrite.com.

This GoFundMe page is specifically for those looking to help in the following ways:

-          Make an individual charitable donation.

-          Provide a corporate sponsorship.

-          Bid on a table for the event for your family or company. The highest bidder will receive the best table at the event! After bidding on your table, be sure to head to the Eventbrite page to purchase your guests’ tickets.

Our goal is to raise enough to help Paul and the Ringel family throughout this difficult time. Any donation will be gratefully accepted! If you have questions about this event or other ways that you can help, please contact Scott Campbell at (614) [phone redacted]. We look forward to seeing you at The $100,000 Diamond Heist!
