HRI ( desperately seeking funds )


FINALLY Dublin husky rescue has found and moved to the new premises where we can continue to rescue and rehabilitate Huskies (and other breeds which alot don't want to work with such as Akitas ) throughout Ireland.

We have been searching high and low to no avail. Understandably alot of landlords do not want 40 dogs on their premises but alot were not suitable for our needs. We would like to thank each and everyone of you who have continued to support us in achieving this because without you all it would be impossible.

DHR was set up to alleviate the suffering caused to huskies by irresponsible ownership, abuse and neglect in Ireland. DHR also aims to reduce the social impact of abandoned and un-neutered huskies in communities around Ireland. Some of the key objects of DHR are to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome healthy neutered dogs responsibly and to educate and provide support to the general public on responsible dog ownership and dog welfare. DHR aim to achieve the this through forging strong relationships with pounds and rescues throughout Ireland. DHR will also provide each dog with high quality healthcare, training and ensure their basic needs are met. There are several beneficiaries to the work that DHR do, these include: the dogs themselves, state funded pounds throughout Ireland, new and potential owners through ongoing support and the general public through support and information provision. While DHR is currently located in Kildare we rescue huskies the length and breadth of Ireland from pounds, as strays and owner surrenders.
