Future Science and Tech Leaders

My son Evan is a Sophomore this year at Blythewood High School and has been selected as a delegate of his high school and the state of South Carolina to attend the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Massachusetts. This is a highly selective program honoring academically superior high school students dedicated to careers in STEM.
Evan has wanted to be an engineer his entire life and is very excited to attend this event and meet engineers, Noble Prize winners and many others. This will give him the opportunity to meet potential mentors who can provide him guidance throughout his schooling and into his working career.
Evan will be attending the event in late June and the funds will go to the classes that he will participate in, as well as, meals and housing. Evan hopes that his future will have him attending Duke University or the Naval Academy and having this event on his college application will go a long way to making him stand out.
Evan appreciates anything that is given to him and I know he will make the best use of his time while attending this event!
