The goal is to establish a 'safe area' in the mountains of the Pyrénées Orientales, in France, where participants can find the possibility to study Buddhism, practice meditation, learn about alternative healing (medicinal plants, etc), spend time in retreat, etc...
The place is meant to welcome people (of any faith) seeking for a a few days, weeks or even months retreat in a quiet, green, and ecological environment. But also for those who want to learn and practice Buddhism, the Tradition of Buddha adapted to the West and to modern time.
We plan to build a Kalachakra stupa on the highest spot of the land, so that its blessing can spread all over the mountains till the sea and benefit as many beings as possible.
The land must be autonomous in water, the building using solar/wind electricity, the community benefiting from a local garden with vegetable and medicinal plants.
We found this place, but its price exceed from far our possibilities, located at 1.500m high, 39 hectares. Divination of several Rinpoches pointed that land as "excellent" for short and long term activities, and helping lot of beings.
We need your help to make this "oasis of light" to become true.
