Pete has no health insurance
Donation protected
My husband is Pete Denby, and he also has diabetes. Pete had got an ulcer on the bottom of his right foot. I took him to two ER visits and both Drs said it looked good, no infection shown. Two days later Pete got really sick so I took him to another ER and the Dr. told us he has a very Dangerous staph infection and needed surgery to remove infection bone and tissue. Pete was in the hospital nine days, and sent him home with oral antibiotics. One week later he was admitted again and had another surgery on his foot this time he lost a toe, and more bone. Pete was in the hospital six days, and they put in a picline to receive IV antiobiotics at home. Pete has no health insurance at all. He was on the Medical Card for a short time but they dropped him after his disability went ineffect. With no insurance Pete can´t afford all his medicine each month now. Some of his perscriptions are only $4.00 at Walmart. His other three he needs, depression, blood pressure, and insulin are $700.00 a month. Petes Medicare goes in effect in December, until then he´s really having a hard time and needs these other meds. Petes a very humble man, and has a hard time excepting help, and finally agreed to this. If anyone wants to help him in donating, or just prayers it would help. Thank You
