Detroit Compost Training

Detroit Community Compost is a training program for inner city young people. Detroit community Compost's target audience are between the ages of 16 and 24 years old that are not in school nor currently employed. The Detroit Community Compost training is supported by up of local residents, community leaders and organizers, and business owners. We are all working to improve the quality of life for the residents and the children in these porverty stricken communities. By working together to we are able to help each other achieve different goal's for a common cause.

In the United States, only 6% of children born in low-income families will make it to the top of the income ladder.  There are one in seven young adults ages 16-24 who are not in school or working—totaling 5.5 million “disconnected youth.” According to the Opportunity Nation Index 2016 

Your donation will assist in making this piolt program a successful, you will also assist in keep things out of the landfills and increase environmental quality, for local residents in the Chandler Park Area.

Your donation will also increase knowledge base for job readiness and building a connection between community residents. I would just like to Thank each and everyone of you now for allow this to happen in the City of Detroit, and contributing to pouring something positive into a young person’s life.
