Destiny's Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Destiny Constantin. I was born with a rare bone disease and a few years ago, I had an accident were I was numb from limb to limb, and collapse on the dining room floor in my house. The next day, my father got me an emergency appointment to see the orthopedic doctor, and my worst nightmare came true. The doctor explained to me that my bone disease is progressing, and I no longer have mobility. I have been wheelchair bound for about three years now, and since them my bone disease is spreading and affecting another parts of my body. With my bone disease progressing, I have developed two nerve disorders, where my nerves and muscles fight each other, and has been causing me to have trouble breathing leading me to be on oxygen, and makes my diabetes harder to manage. There are days when I melt down and cry and I can not handle the pain, but every year my health declines. I have had to change my whole lifestyle, and change my life goals. My parents work so hard to take care of me, and I thank God everyday for giving me the best parents in the world, but my family and I are in financial need. My dad left his job to take care of me, and my mom has been working over 40 hours of week so we can survive. It is becoming harder for my parents to lift me out of my wheelchair into the bathroom, and I can not get around the house because the door wides are too narrow. My parents would like to give me a better lifestyle, but we can't afford it. So, we are asking for funds to make our home handicap accessible. The funds would be use to remodel the bathroom, and to widen the door fames in my home, and to make it easier for me to do everyday things. If we can raise enough money for my home to be more handicap accessible it would be a life savier for my parents, and I because both my parents health is not to good, and my dad is the only person who can lift me and he needs knee surgery within the next six months, and I been feeling sick, and I just don't know what to do expect for to ask people for donations so my family, and don't have to struggle, and I can continue to go to college to earn my degree so I can accomplish my dream to become a college professor, and show the world that people with disabilities are an important aspect to the community, and most importantly I want to inspire others.
