Life’s unexpected challenges.
Currently in Carrabelle Florida.
We are out of fuel and resources. I need to take on fuel for the safety of the ship! 270 gallons to get to Tampa Florida safely.
Only fuel on land and I will have to cart it in. I showed up here to help.
Most docks destroyed or unusable.
No place to moor and work here. Companies are hiring from within the community most in this area lost there home, place to work or both. I sent out 20+ applications ahead of my path on 10/31 and today 11/1 sending out more.
My wife Judy, our bird Powder, and I are aboard our 46’ 1972 Chris Craft Aquahome and we are on our way to Southern Florida.
I was working just to make ends meet at the border of Tennessee and Mississippi. Due to delays, Florence, a couple repairs, and then Michael! We need to take on fuel to continue our journey. We headed straight threw disaster. Gave out paper towels, baby wipes, and water along the way. I plan to continue to work wherever possible on the way. Trying to keep winter and the cold behind for the Boat and Birds health. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All help will be paid forward again! When I can.
Thank You!
