On Monday, May 28, Desi was rushed to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI due to breathing problems.
A few hours later he was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI by an emergency helicopter.
He has been in the ICU since the 28th. He is in critical condition and is currently sedated, breathing with a ventilator and battling a number of issues including heart failure and pneumonia. He is expected to be in the ICU for the immediate future.
Desi is a self-employed contractor and we are unsure when he will be able to return to work. He is married and has two sons, ages 11 & 9.
