Help Save Soap Box Derby

The Greater Des Moines Soap Box Derby Association is a community non-profit that promotes the youth sport of soap box derby racing here in Des Moines.  The Association has hosted youth races at a dedicated track in Ewing Park since the 1970's.  Recently, the Association's race equipment was stolen, including timers, audio equipment, and scales necessary to conduct races.  This is a devastating loss to the kids and the Association, and has already resulted in an upcoming race being cancelled.  We are requesting donations to replace the stolen equipment and save the kids' summer race season.
