Helping Derrick Achieve A Dream!

You already know me, (if you don't, I'm Derrick and I'm just a little bit awesome) but you might not know about the "me" that I've been working hard to become. In the past few years, I've been up and down, good and bad and everything in between, and I'm ready to hop off that roller coaster and do something positive to put me in a better position in life.  

I decided to quit being afraid of being successful and dreading failure, and I'm working to becoming a licenced Real Estate agent! I've been in love with houses and the opportunity to put other people in better, more positive, living environments for years due to my own past experiences with being uncomfortable with where I lived. I know how important it is to feel at home in a house, and not like "just another" tenant in a rented space or "just another" owner of a house with not even a shred of your own personality.  It's hard to beat the feeling of waking up every day and being thrilled to look at your surroundings, and to just be happy with where you are, and I want to bring that feeling to as many people as I possible can through real estate.

In order to be a licenced real estate agent, I don't just need to complete 90 hours of training (which I'm doing now),  and pass the Nevada state licensing test. I also have to register with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to be able to get hired as a Realtor and use the multiple listing service, which is perhaps the most important tool to a real estate agent, besides my winning smile and magnetic personality lol. 

I need to raise at least $1200 by December to be able to register with the NAR, and I've picked up one job to help with the funds, and there is another job pending, but I know I can't do it all alone. Which is why I'm reaching out to world in hopes of crowd funding the capital I need to make this dream come true. 
I know none of my friends are rich, and I don't epect much, but even  a few bucks here and there can really add up and I would be incredibly thankful for the support and forever in your favor. I've never really had much in life, but I've always tried to help the universe as much as I could, and I'm just hoping the universe could return the gensture.
