Derek and Katie's IVF Fundraiser

As many know Katie and Derek have been struggling for some time to start a family via IVF. After exhausting all their finances through three rounds they finally got pregnant with their miracle twins. They were beginning the perfect family with both a boy and a girl. However, in devastation of everyone Katie developed Severe Pre Eclampsia at just 20 weeks and her body was beginning to shut down.  Although the babies were healthy and perfect Derek and Katie had to make the very difficult decision to deliver the babies to save Katie's life even though they knew it was not possible for the babies to live.  Not only do they struggle with the finances to try again but now they had to take on that of cremating and putting their little angels to rest. Now that Katie and Derek and beginning to heal both mentally and physically over the loss of their sweet babies we are asking people to help us raise money in order for them to try again in starting a family. For those of you unfamiliar with IVF it usually runs $5,000 to $6,000 a try with no assistance from insurance. We are hoping to raise enough to help them try again over the next few months so any small amount contributed could make a world of difference. If you are unable to contribute financially good thoughts and prayers are also greatly appreciated for the family in this time if healing.
