Mark, Thomas and Lucy at RDS Global are taking part in the Derby 10K to support and encourage the educational development of the next generation by raising money for Derby colleges chosen charity – Breakfast Club.
RDS Global work with Derby college in providing opportunities for young people to get into the technology sector, through schemes such as the RDS academy and apprenticeships, RDS also sit alongside Derby College on the Digital and Science Board.
It is estimated that one in four school children attend school without breakfast and over two thirds are not hydrated. Breakfast club is an initiative organized by Derby entrepreneur Kavita Oberoi. This initiative provides breakfast to children in primary schools across Derby. Breakfast club has been voted Derby Colleges’ charity of the year and has challenged its 4,000 students to raise £15 each.
