Help Deputy shot in line of duty

This account was set up to help Deputy Mirrielees who was shot in the line of duty on January 31, 2018, while responding to a call for service. Deputy Mirrielees sustained significant injuries and will require long term medical care. Deputy Mirrielees is currently recovering from his injures and will be off duty for an extended period of time.

Deputy Mirrielees has been with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for approximately 2 1/2 years. Deputy Mirrielees is a humble leader, a mentor, a great man, a father and a friend to many. Deputy Mirrielees’ attitude on a daily basis is positive and he has done great things for Harris County. Deputy Mirrielees professional and personal life will be impacted.
