Dena Brady Breast Cancer Support

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in early December of 2018. It was completely unexpected, and our family was taken off guard.

The timing was rough because it put my parents in a position where they had to meet their insurance deductible twice, since January was a new year. Mom had her double mastectomy a few days ago. We still don't know what the treatment plan is going to be after she has healed some.

My parents have been pillars of the Canon City, CO community for more than 30 years. Mom taught music in the school district for 32 years, and dad has been in real estate for over 30 years. They have touched so many lives over the years. Even with all that is going on, they are so generous and thinking of others. My mom's attitude and bravery are inspiring.

Any person who knows them knows that they would give you the shirt off their back, even if it was the last thing they had.  My parents have always put others before themselves so selflessly.

So, my family and I are asking for your support during this difficult time. We have seen the wonderful things that this community has done, and we know that the good in this world always outweighs the bad.  We appreciate your support in any way, and we know that God's got this.
