Dena Byrd Funeral Dontations
Donation protected
After 9 years, Dena has waived her white flag in her courageous battle with cancer. Dena's daughter, Jaida, is Aubrey's best friend and our bonus daughter. Jaida and her brother are barely adults, and have no means to pay for a simple cremation for their mother. In order to keep costs at the absolute minimum, only cremation will be provided by Simple Traditions, a division of Johnson Funeral Home, that offers the most cost effective options for cremation.
We are humbly asking our friends and family to make any contribution you can to assist in the expense of cremation. If you do not want to make contribution through this site, you can make contribution directly to Simple Traditions Johnson Funeral home [phone redacted] or mail or drop off payment to our home.
Prior to cancer, Dena was a nurse in the Lake Charles area. She leaves behind two children who fought with her from adolescence until early adulthood. They are feeling lost, scared and confused, and we would like to help them through alleviating the financial burden of the crematory costs. Any amount will be gratefully received.
