Delylah Strong Kidney Disease Fund

Donation protected
Lylah was born with two kidneys but one was not developed properly at birth. Lylah also was born with a few other renal problems that went along with that deformation. We had to remove her right kidney at eighteen months. We were also able to fix her ureter seal and ureter problems at that time.
Life was immediately improved for her and things have been great until last year. Her good remaining kidney started to go into renal failure. The result was having to have it removed about ten months post diagnosis. The diagnosis is FSGS with end stage renal failure. Lylah is currently on in home peritoneal dialysis. This process like any has become expensive. We would appreciate any help that you are willing to offer.
Our out of pocket expenses plus all of our other secondary costs are expensive. Missing work and smaller treatments like chiropractic, massage therapy to help move fluid, and re-outfitting her room to accommodate the in home medical needs have been just part of our expenses.  Lylah also has stretch marks from retaining so much fluid.  They are from chest to ankle, she has asked if we can try and fix this after transplant.   We are also are trying to find a hair treatment for her since she has lost about half of her hair from the disease and treatment.  All donations would be used to help offset these costs as well as continue the secondary treatments.  We are working towards transplant this month. If all goes well Lylah will get a Kidney but will also be on medication life long. We are hoping to build her reserve funds to her cover her ongoing medical expenses.
Just a little about my family. My wife was working prior, but we have decided that it would be better for her to stay home to help Lylah with her care and recovery efforts. We have two other daughters; Gianna is 12 and in 7th grade and loves sports and is on the honor roll. Esme is 6 and in 1st grade, she’s the comedian of the house and helps us with lots of laughter. I work for the fire department  and understand what it means to help those in the community. We have lots of immediate family close by that have been helping with child coverage while we are in and out of the hospital.
Initially we dcieded a gofundme account might not be needed, but as we look at the long term needs and follow up we have decided it would good to have this is place.  Lylahs dad, Brycen will donate his kideny at the end of the month to help lylah stay "Delylah Strong"
