Delphine's Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On May 16th, our mother got diagnosed with lung cancer. 2 weeks later, we took her to the hopsital for abdominal pain. Little did we know she would then be admitted into the ICU. We shortly found out it was much more serious than what we intially thought. She had stage 4 bone cancer. As her Calcium and Potassium levels continued to rise, her kidney's began shutting down, her fever rose to 106.5, and her blood pressure dropped. We were immediately forced with the decision to either force through treatment despite doctors orders or focus on making her comfortable. We chose to discontinue her suffering as it was clear how much pain she was in despite her wave in and out of conciousness. On Friday afternoon at 4:45 PM, two weeks after her diagnosis, our mother passed away.

Because her death was both unexpected and shocking, we were left with many hard decisions to make within a very short amount of time unable to fully realize what we were getting ourselves into.  Now that our mother has passed, we are grieving with one another.  Not knowing where to begin with these medical costs is both overwhelming and hard to even consider at the moment. By donating, we can continue to focus on her and the things that are important to honor her memory without having to worry about bills going into collections. Anything would be appreciated; whether is be flowers or something as simple as words of kindness.

Thank you for your consideration.
