Deloitte Christmas Impact 2016
Each Christmas Deloitte takes the opportunity to make a significant impact in the local Dublin community. On the run-up to Christmas, Deloitte’s 80+ Graduates undertake a week of fundraising and event planning with a number of exceptional charities to help them make a positive difference at what is often a difficult time for many.
This year Deloitte has partnered with the following charities:
Sophia
Sophia is a weaving of holistic support to enable people who are homeless to make positive differences in their lives by becoming more aware of their own strengths and potential.As well as providing accommodation, Sophia will also offer a safe place where one can seek wisdom of mind, heart, soul and spirit.
Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House provides long term accommodation, care and support for families from all over Ireland whilst their children are seriously ill in Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
RMHC - Ireland
Move 4 Parkinsons
Move4Parkinson’s provides information and support to People with Parkinson’s PwP’s on how to improve quality of life through self-management. Move for Parkinson’s has a vision of a world in which (PwP’s) are empowered to achieve their best possible quality of life.
Cheeverstown
Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation that provides a wide range of residential, respite and day services to almost 400 children and adults with an intellectual disability in Templeogue and throughout various community locations in South Dublin.
Cappucin Day Centre
Between 12th - 16th of December 89 members of the Deloitte Analyst group will be engaging in a number of innovative fundraising events for these exceptional charities culminating in festive events held at each charity location.
This year we have set a base fundraising target of €8000, this money will go a long way to making a lasting impact on those who rely on the organisations above.
