Come and explore rural life, get connected with Delaware’s agricultural heritage and the important role it plays in our daily lives. See why so many families and schoolchildren visit the Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village each year. Our visitors love to step back in time as they wander through the historic Village set in the 1890’s and filled with 21 -19th Century buildings and structures. The Great Hall (Main Exhibit Building) is the home for an 18th Century Log House, the first Broiler Chicken House plus 12,000 Artifacts and many Changing Exhibits.

We offer School Programs, Day Camps, a Research Library, Workshops & Demonstrations, Rentals, The Village Emporium (Gift Shop), Special Living History Events and Seasonal Festivals. For exact dates & times, please check out our calendar of events at www.agriculturalmuseum.org.

In 2017, the Delaware Legislation voted to cut all grants to non-profits by 20% leaving us with about a $10,000 hole in our budget. The majority of employees at the Museum and Village are volunteers, some working every day of the week to support the Museum. The Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village benefits not just Delawareans, but lovers of Agriculture visit from neighboring states; Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Georgia and even Germany, England and other countries. Keeping our doors open is important to the local economy but mostly to children and families who have the opportunity to see farm life and living from "back in the day".
