Del and Gracie - 2 Strong Parents

On May 28, 2016, at the Georgia Motovlogger Meet Up, our friends and fellow riders, Del and his passenger Gracie, were involved in a traumatic accident. The crash left both of them in the hospital, out of work, and with a long recovery ahead of them. Today, they are in need of our help.
Both Del and Gracie were wearing full face helmets and protective apparel, which is why they are still alive and did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. Del was hit while stopped on his motorcycle, resulting in a compound fracture so severe that he almost lost his right leg . The impact also broke Gracie's right ankle, fibula, and knee, as well as tore several major ligaments in her knee.
The unexpected hospital stays, multiple surgeries, emergency transportation and continuing treatments without the ability to return to work are financially debilitating for the couple, who also have a young child.
We, as a community, have the ability to help these two amazing individuals in their time of need. They were at the meetup trying to protect their fellow riders and contribute to the unity of the group ride. We won't let them fight this fight alone. Our community is massively supportive, and time and time again we're given the opportunity to show each other the level of camaraderie that exists among us.
