Deep River Curling Club Repairs

The Deep River Curling & Squash Club has just completed another successful year of curling, however, it is now clear that substantial repairs to the ice plant system are required to ensure that members can have curling next season and for many seasons to come.  A majority of materials for the ice plant system were last installed in 1989 and have now reached the end of their expected 25-30 year life span.  We need to replace this equipment to initiate another 25-30 year life span.  To get these repairs underway, funds are needed for the club by April 30, 2017.  The system needs to be replaced to ensure a 2017-2018 season. 

We need your help!  After some very generous donations from members, we are still in need of funding.  Members of the curling club are now asking for you to consider giving to the club.  Any dollar amount is appreciated!

The Deep River Curling  & Squash Club is not only four sheets of ice, it is an important focal point of community spirit and involvement.  Members  young and young at heart rely on this club as an opportunity to engage with others in their community in a fun and social atmosphere generated by the game of curling.  Our club is home to Little Rock curlers, who are as young as 6 years old, all the way up to senior curlers, many of whom have enjoyed this club for over 60 years.  Clubs such as the Deep River Curling & Squash Club are crucial in providing an identity and spirit for small towns across Canada.  For more information about our club and events that take place there, please visit our website at drcsc.ca.
