Accident Recovery

John and Dee are a retired couple living in Arizona.  Their son had a brain injury over 13 years ago that has caused him to live out his life in a care center.  John and Dee visit him daily and make sure he is getting all of the therapy and care that he is in need of . Dee also performs and entertains at the care center for all of the residents there several times a year to entertain them.  

    They were traveling  on their way back home from visiting family and friends when they were involved in a terrible accident. The car was completely  totaled  and not even recognizable. Dee received numerous injuries that were very serious. Including a broken arm, shattered elbow, ruptures diaphragm  lower back injury and broken ribs. John received several bumps, cuts, bruises and a possible broken rib as well as severe burns on his legs. She has had to undergo 4 surgeries within  a 3 day time period. A lot of their belongings were completely destroyed including Dee's guitar. John has been staying with some good friends that is close to the hospital. A wheelchair was donated since he is currently not able to walk and is having to keep his legs elevated.  Their son has taken emergency leave from the military to be there to help them out and transport John to and from the hospital to see Dee.

   She is  currently in a hospital  waiting to be released. They will have to fly back home to Arizona from Georgia when she is released and able to fly. They are also going to need to get a car to replace the one they were traveling in and will have a lot of living adjustments to make when they do get back home. They both have a long road of recovery ahead of them.  All prayers and help will be appreciated. May God Bless you.
