Declan Dunn and Jody Colvard

Donation protected
On Saturday, November 10, my brother Declan Dunn and his partner Jody Colvard's world changed tragically. They live in Chico and lost not only their home and all material possessions but their beautiful dog Sophie and four cats to the "Camp Fire" wildfires that are ravaging northern California.  They are in immediate need of help.

With a mortgage remaining on the property and no computer or video equipment for their home-based internet marketing businesses, the priority is to replace their business equipment so they can maintain their income and assist with shelter and clothing.  They are in their 50s,  self employed.

On Friday, Declan debated whether to go to a meeting in town.  After checking the fire reports, he decided it was safe to go.  An hour later he discovered the roads were closed and he could not get home.

Jody returned from a trip that same day and learned that their "fur babies" were alone.  They tried walking through the woods in the dark of night for more than 3 hours in a desperate attempt to rescue their animals. but were turned back by the fire marshalls.  A friend has taken them in.

On Saturday they got the call - everything is gone.

We, as a family, are doing all we can but are asking for any extra assistance you may be able to offer.
