Death Proof Stolen Gear

Hello everyone. On Saturday, October 12th, our car got broken into. Thieves stole Steph's Gibson eb Bass and Fender Bassman Head. We scoured the streets from 8am until 9pm looking for the criminals and the lost gear. We investigated hard, after being told several times by the police that we would never find what we lost. We did the dirty work, and we succeeded.

We found her stolen gear at a pawn shop called Banco, on the complete other side of the island from where her gear was stolen. We were even lucky enough to find the criminals who did it, and filed a police report against them. Hopefully, they will be arrested soon and hopefully it will be one less musician who gets their gear stolen. That said, the battle is not yet won. Due to a very crooked Quebec law, pawn shops have a right to our items, stolen or not. Therefore, the pawn shop is demanding that we pay close to 1000$ to get our gear back. They are protected by the SPVM and we have no choice but to pay it to get it back.

While it might not seem like much to you, we simply don't have the means right now to ''buy our gear back''. If people donate 5-10$ (the cost of one of our shows), we will be able to get our gear back in no time. We hope you understand where we're coming from - and know that anything helps.
