Deaf father loses his livelihood
Donation protected
Two nights ago, my fathers van was stolen from our driveway. We got the van back, but all of his tools were gone. My dad has worked in construction for over 20 years and accumulated tools during that time. My father is deaf and on disability and uses these tools to help out people and do handyman jobs for extra money. Because he is on disability, he can not afford to replace his tools. Tools including ones his father passed down to him. Insurance does not replace what was in the van, only the damage done to the van. His tools were the one thing that he owned that was not only worth something financially but they were his pride and joy. Anything that I, his daughter, can raise for him will make him so happy.
