Airfare to see The Grateful Dead

I need a miracle! I am an American living in London who loves, loves, loves The Grateful Dead. I have passed that love on to my 8 year old daughter, Amelia, who often speaks about seeing the members of the Dead in concert with me.

This summer, The Grateful Dead are doing a farewell reunion show in Chicago, IL. This will be my last chance to take my daughter to see her musical heroes.

Living in London is expensive and it is extra expensive due to the fact that we have to pay several thousand pounds to the UK government for our visas this summer. So, any money that would go towards a trip back to the US will be gobbled up by our visa expense.

To complicate things is the fact that I am suffering from a neurological problem effecting my short-term, immediate memory that has me currently on sick leave and at only half-pay until I am able to return to work.  This really impacts our family's ability to do anything extra with the funds coming in.

Airfare to the US is expensive, roughly $4,000 round trip for myself, Amelia, my wife and toddler son. While in America, I will give Amelia the opportunity to see The Grateful Dead and myself a chance to reconnect with so many friends that I share a love of their music with.

I am a published author, though by no means an author of great fame. For donating amount of $25 you get one original short story. For $35 you get two original short stories. For $40 you get  three original short stories.

Each short story features my character Kip Kilibrew, a teenage boy in the 1980s with the ability to time travel whenever he gets inebriated. He names himself Time Falcon and travels through time and space trying to lose his virginity. They're funny, silly stories that I am sure you will dig.

For $50 you will get all three short stories and a fourth new story featuring the Kip character attending his first Grateful Dead show.

For $100 you get all four short stories plus a digital copy of my first book "A Zen Master in Oz"

For $120 you get all four short stories, "A Zen Master in Oz" and my new book, "The Martian Invasion of Oz".

For $150 you will get all of the short stories, the two novels and a personalized video greeting from myself.
