De Dutch Dragonfly weer in de lucht

In de nacht van 21 op 22 januari is er ingebroken in de loods bij vliegclub Westerwolde in Vledderveen. Hier heeft Rinus in ‘t Groen zijn Dragonfly staan.
Aan diverse kleine vliegtuigen is er enorme schade gemaakt. Aan de Dragonfly van Rinus zijn alle kabels rondom de motor met geweld verwijderd en is de motor van zijn frame gehaald (zie foto).

uiteindelijk zijn de inbrekers gestoord in hun bezigheden en hebben ze het motorblok laten staan.
Elk jaar als de dagen weer langer worden en het weer beter, vliegt Rinus een ieder rond het vliegveld nabij Stadskanaal.
De deltavliegers van Nederland, welke sport ik ook beoefen, worden ook opgesleept boven het Groningse landschap.
Graag zie ik, maar met mij hopelijk velen, dat Rinus zijn Dragonfly weer snel kan herstellen om zodoende in het voorjaar traditie getrouw iedereen weer van een fijne vlucht te voorzien.
De te maken kosten bestaan uit een nieuwe noodparachute en kabels&sensoren voor de motor.
De verzekeringvan Rinus zijn Dragonfly dekt alleen schade door storm en brand. Vernieling en diefstal is uitgesloten.
PS: helaas kan via GoFundMe alleen per credit card worden gedoneerd. Neem contact op met mij als je wil doneren maar geen creditcard hebt of wilt gebruiken, als ik het bedrag dan ontvang heb via een andere manier, dan maak ik het over naar Gofundme (met jouw naamsvermelding).

I hope to see, and hopefully many others, that Rinus can quickly restore his Dragonfly, so that in the spring the tradition for everyone continues and we all have a nice flight again.
