Hello everyone! My name is Christa Brown and I am 24 years old. I have been chosen as an entrant in the MISS MASSACHUSETTS USA Pageant which is an official preliminary to the national MISS USA Pageant. The state preliminary will be held on November 22-23, 2014 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA.
The winner of this event will compete for the title of MISS USA. The MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE, MISS USA, and MISS TEEN USA Pageants, is a Donald Trump and NBC Universal Partnership.
A Massachusetts-native; I currently serve as Outreach Coordinator for Girls Incorporated of Greater Lowell, a non-profit organization whose mission is to "inspire all girls to be strong smart and bold." In 2012 I obtained a B.F.A. in Theatre from Longwood University in Farmville, VA. While there I was very active in the theatre department, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and served as Miss Black and Gold 2012, and previously, Jr. Miss South Hill 2008 in South Hill, VA. My work in both the theatre and corporate world has inspired me to seek a life of advocacy for our youth, to expose them to all opportunities imaginable and to live out their lives according to their own standards for success and no one else's. My work with my church, Calvary Baptist Church in Haverhill, MA has granted me countless opportunities to work with youth in efforts to aid them in independent thought and critical thinking concerning the world around them. Your help would allow me to spread this mission throughout the state and ultimately, the nation.
As a prospective donor or sponsor, you are asked to participate financially by providing all or part of my sponsorship fee which is $1295.
1. Entrants expenses during the two day event, including food, and lodging at the Holiday Inn Tewksbury.
2. Gifts and prizes for entrants, semi-finalists and of course the winner
3. Production of the pageant shows, including entertainment, professional equipment, hostesses, and staff.
4. Transportation and expenses for the state titleholders at the site of the MISS USA Pageant.
If you so choose to be a sponsor, you will receive personal recognition in the pageant news as well as recognition for your firm in the official pageant publication. Sponsors names are published in the program book along with photography of your entrant.
This is a rare opportunity for a young lady. The winner will represent the state of Massachusetts at the national MISS USA Pageant.
Assisting me with sponsorship early will be greatly appreciatd. Please make checks payable to Clemente Productions. Sponsorships can be completely tax deductible as advertising expenses.
Additionally, this is an opportunity to be involved with a program that emphasizes values, academic achievement, social and civic involvement and hard work. The event has a 50 year old tradition of spotlighting positive role models for today's young people.
