D.C. Boys Choir

Hello and thank you for visiting the D.C. Boys Choir's fundraising page! Our choir has been invited to perform at the American Celebration of Music in Italy from July 9-18, 2015.  This marks our choir's 22nd year singing together throughout the United States and abroad. This opportunity to travel to Italy  proceeds a number of experiences afforded to the members of the D.C. Boys Choir, which have promoted cultural immersion and international exposure for the choir.

The D.C. Boys Choir has established itself as one of the premier youth choirs in the nation. From its inception in 1993 sponsored by the Gifted and Talented Education Program of the District of Columbia Public Schools and as a local and community choral group, the choir has emerged on the national and international scene with honor and distinction. Under the leadership of Eleanor Stewart, a retired vocal music teacher in the District of Columbia Public Schools, the D.C. Boys Choir has a long and distinguished list of outstanding performances across the United States, as well as throughout Europe and Asia.

The choir relies on the support of the local and national community to fund its travels and programming. It is our hope that you will consider making a contribution to the trip of a lifetime for over 30 boys from the Greater Washington area.
