Help Us Touch Haiti

On March 31, 2016, eleven of us are departing for Haiti, seeking to bring God's love, compassion and provision to the people of Les Cayes and Twamango. We are seeking your help. First, we ask you to pray for us. Please ask God: to keep our team healthy, safe and spiritually strong; to watch over our loved ones in our absence; to prepare our hearts, minds and bodies for everything that lies ahead of us; to send the Holy Spirit ahead of us to prepare the hearts and minds of the people we will encounter; to keep us humble and teachable so we never appear arrogant or critical of our Haitian brothers and sisters; to build eternal friendships with our team members and with the people we meet in Haiti; and to build God's Kingdom exactly as He has preordained.
Second, we ask you to help fund our trip so we can: lead a Pastor's Seminar to teach 150-300 Haitian pastors more about the Holy Spirit; touch people in the slums of Les Cayes with God's love; form and pour a concrete floor for a church in Twamango; build benches for the orphanages; do some home visitations; and give away clothing and school supplies to the children of Twamango. Our goal is to raise $22,000 to defray the costs of airfare, building supplies, ground transportation in Haiti, interpreters, lodging and food. Anything you can contribute will be tax-deductible and very much appreciated. Should we raise more than $22,000, the excess will be given to Haiti's Children, Inc. for Gladys Mungo's ministry there.
