DBC Supports Camp Fire Victims

The DBC board established a goal of raising $10,000 to support victims of the Camp Fire in Paradise. This disaster has hit close to home, some of you have friends and family in the area, and many of us have ridden through Paradise on the Chico Velo Wildflower Century.
To increase the impact of the club’s giving the board encourages members to make a personal donation of any amount. The club will match up to $5,000 of the total donations made by members with funds added to the 2018 Philanthropy Budget.
The funds will go to the North Valley Community Foundation/Camp Fire Relief Fund (nvcf.org). Only 1 percent of the funds raised by NVCF goes to administrative and management expenses. All of the donations are spent in the local area.
Donations made by December 15, 2018 will be matched by DBC.
