Queering the Church

For years, I've been promoting LGBT Catholic ministry at my blog, Queering the Church and other sites,  I've been a speaker at LGBT conferences, on radio and TV as an openly gay Catholic advocate for marriage equality, and a committee member for Quest  and the Centre for the Study of Christianity and Sexuality . I am also volunteer webmaster for the forthcoming foundation conference of the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics. All of this has been as a volunteer, depending for a basic income on juggling three part-time jobs at near minimum wage. In effect, I've been subsidising my advocacy and ministry from my own limited income. 

The time has come to further expand what I'm doing into new areas, but for that I need help with funding.
My initial appeal was for a target of £800, to buy a new laptop, and to cover travel expenses to Rome, for the foundation conference of the  Global Network of Rainbow Catholics, which will be held in Rome to coincide with the opening of the Bishops' Synod on Marriage and Family. The response was immediate and generous, with strong expressions of support for the value of my work.
