Mock Turtle Zine is a free literary and arts publication featuring local, Dayton artists, writers, poets, photographers, and creatives. Our volunteer staff produces two issues a year, showcasing the talent of our community with the help of corporate and individual donations.
For the past 8 years, we have been able to provide an outlet for local creatives to share their work. Printing is our largest cost, which often limits our publication volume.
With your help, we are working hard towards our goal of $1000 for our next issue. This will allow us to produce 500 copies for distribution at local Dayton businesses, such as Press, Ghostlight Coffee, Hannah’s, D20, Lucky’s, Dino’s Coffee, Spirited Goat Coffee House, and Yellow Springs Brewery.
