DAVID KIRKMAN PRODUCTIONS (DKP) is a full service film production company. Our group of innovative storytellers create, develop, and produce digital series. Because we have hit a certain subscriber amount, YouTube has enabled our channel so many more options to create content at scale.
I am aiming to build our current YouTube channel from a growing 6,200 subscribers to 200,000+ and release content on a consistent basis. The goal is to get to the point to where we function much like a traditional studio and release episodes of a mini series weekly.
Building that means I am committed to telling underrepresented stories for a global audience and producing quality series with moral tales designed for both enjoyment and education. ALL of the work will also be translated in Portuguese considering South America makes up 30% of our viewership.
The channel will be mostly original content, however we will sprinkle in fan films every now and then to keep things lively.
WHERE EXACTLY ARE THE FUNDS GOING?
DKP needs your help getting our first two series off the ground and officially rolling to set things in motion with releases in 2020.
This is the general overview of what we'd need within the first year for our initial mini series.
• $1,500 - Transportation, Locations, & Catering
• $2,000 - Wardrobe & Props
• $1,500 - Production Equipment Rental
• $4,000 - Cast & Production Crew
• $1,500 - Production Insurance
• $500 - Animation Department
• $2,000 - Visual Effects Department
• $400 - Music Department
• $1,000 - Miscellaneous
GRAND TOTAL: $14,400
The core team will grow and expand on an as needed basis. Members also vary from project to project and availability. But here are the consistent names you'll see for the start:
