David Malotts Cancer Journey

Donation protected
David Malott began his cancer journey September 5th 2018.
Dave was diagnosed with stage two Esophageal cancer after becoming ill in August 2018. Fortunately Dave was diagnosed quick enough that treatment could start as soon as possible but this came with a lot of unforseen costs and expenses.Dave started chemotherapy and radiation at the end of October till November. He completed chemotherapy november 26th, 2018 and Radiation december 3rd 2018,  YAY!!!!! but the battle was far from over. Dave then had to endure the recovery from chemotherapy and radiation that took everything out of him and wait for surgery to remove what was left of the cancer.
January 14th 2019 Dave went through a 4.5 hour surgery to reconstruct his esophagus to get rid of the part the cancer had destroyed.
David was sent home a week after surgery to recover at home as a daily nurse would take on his care there. Dave had a set back a week after coming home from surgery. The third night home Dave all of a sudden couldn't breathe. After rushing back to hamilton, Doctors discovered Dave received a punchered lung from his feeding tube which seen him in the hospital for 3+ weeks and a much longer recovery.
Due to this battle with Cancer Dave has had to stop working which has caused a lot of financial hardships. Daily trips to hamilton, medication that is not covered, bills and EI sick benefits that ran out, have made an already stressful time in his life even more stressful.
For those who know Dave, know he is the most hardworking selfless person on this earth.  He is the person who is there for anyone the minute they need him and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.
I am asking for donations to help ease the cost for Dave while he recovers. Donations would go fully towards Medications, Hospital trips ( that are far from over ) and bills that have gotten behind since being diagnosed. Dave is currently on a feeding tube at home with limited mobility and has daily nurses come to change, clean and help with his tubes, bandages and medication.

Praying for his strength every single day.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

Anything Helps, even if it's sharing his courageous story
