Fulfilling Dad's Final Wishes

Donation protected
On June 30, 2017 the world lost a father, grandfather, brother, Vietnam veteran and overall great man. After battling bladder cancer, pancreatic cancer and diabetes, his body would give in and he would pass due to a heart attack at the young age of 68.

This man was my father and his death was very unexpected. On Monday, June 25th he would go through a triple bypass and all appeared to be going better than expected. I would leave my home state of Maine to fly to Georgia on Friday, June 30th to surprise him with his only grandson. Unfortunately, his heart would give out on him while we were still in the air and we would not have the opportunity to surprise him or even say goodbye.

It was one of his final wishes to have his ashes placed on his 38 acre parcel. I am trying to raise the money to payoff his property and erect a flagpole in his honor where we will bury his ashes and place a foot stone from the VA. I will not be able to bury his ashes on his land if I am unable to retain ownership.

The first $2000 raised will be used to revover his ashes from his cremation.
The next $1000 will be used to erect a flagpole for him to be buried at. Any further monies raised will be used towards acquiring his property.

I understand that there is a lot of money needed to fulfill his wishes but any amount will help me get closer. For those who know me, know that I am usually a very private person so you know how difficult this is for me to do but I am at a loss for how to complete my father's last wish as this is completely out of my budget.

If donating is outside of your budget also, please consider helping me by sharing this. I thank you in advance, David
