Daughters helping Daddy - join us!

Michael Sloane was born to two Holocaust survivors in a displaced persons camp in Germany in 1946. Many years later, he's known to many as Uncle Mike, Poppy, Mr. Sloane, #1 Philly sports fan, and to us, as Daddy.
Our father has worked tirelessly his whole life, through myriad careers and experiences. For the past 10+ years he has worked as a real estate appraiser, a physically demanding role that requires lots of mobility and long, irregular hours. In 2015 he underwent an arterial bypass that has had lasting effects on his body, impeding his ability to return to business as usual.
So now, at 72 years old, we're hoping that we can help our father move away from the day-to-day worries of making ends meet through constant aches & pains. We want him to find a sense of community and stability that he has been yearning for since childhood. And, frankly, we need your help!
My sisters and I are in the process of relocating our father into a senior living facility located nearby her home in Los Angeles. Francesca found him a fantastic retirement community with artistic, lively, and thoughtful people his age. At the same time, we're currently building our careers ourselves, and we have decided that we will do whatever it takes to make this happen. As part of that, we are reaching out to our incredible communities and kind citizens of the world to aid us in this process.
Anything you provide will go towards these expenses. Thank you so much for reading, and we appreciate your support during this time.
All our love,
Daniella & Francesca
