Michael's Cancer Treatment

Hello,
My name is Michael Shelton (Florida Mike), I am a 51 year old Disabled Veteran and I have a Beautiful ten-year-old daughter named “Hannalee”.

I was recently diagnosed with Colon/Rectal Cancer: "Aggressive Andenocarnonma with Moderate Differentiation".
I have a 2 inch malignant tumor in my lower Colon that has to be removed as soon as possible. Even after removal, there may or may not be enough colon/rectum left to reattach. I will have to wear a colostomy bag for a minimum of 3-6 months... possibly for life.
I am still waiting on a P.E.T. scan scheduled for July 14th to determine exactly how far this cancer has spread and the course of treatment (or lack thereof) that I will undertake.
I have no transportation of my own. I am unable to work and am relying on friends to help me out. This is putting an enormous burden on them as well as myself, as I have never had to ask others for help.
I need funds to be able to keep my phone turned on, so as to be able to make and keep all of my Doctors’ appointments and to have a reliable means of communication.  I Also need to be able to pay for transportation to and from ALL of my Dr. appointments as well as have money to eat a somewhat healthy diet if I am to have any chance of beating this awful disease. Another cost is medications. My insurance covers some, but not all of the medications I am currently taking. The ones not covered tend to be very expensive.
I have not even begun to figure out all the other expenses that will be associated with this "BATTLE FOR MY LIFE" (i.e. rent, utilities etc.), as trying to tends to send me into anxiety attacks just trying to think about it.
Most importantly, any excess moneys that I can generate here, I would like to put into a trust fund for my 10 year old daughter: "Hannalee", to insure that she has some money to help her through life and life’s challenges when I am gone.
I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW URGENT AND POTENTIALLY LIFESAVING YOUR HELP CAN BE. IF YOU CAN SEE FIT TO DONATE SOME LOOSE CHANGE OR ANYTHING AT ALL, IT WILL BE USED WELL and VERY GREATLY APPRECIATED!
The ONLY other thing I ask is that you keep myself and my loved ones in your thoughts and prayers and: IF YOU ARE OVER  40 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE GO GET A COLONOSCOPY OR MAMAGRAM as soon as possible; the life you save may be YOUR OWN!
