Our greatest adventure yet . . . WE'RE ADOPTING!!!!
First, here's a breakdown of the costs and where we are so far with funding:
Home Study Fee - $1,050 - funded!
Fingerprints, Online Classes, Additional Fees - $1,446 - funded!
Application Fees - $1,000 - funded!
Advertising Fee - $3,500 - funded!
Agency Fee - $18,000
Pregnancy Program Fee - $1,200
Finalization Fee - $2,750
Misc. Administrative and Program Fees - $9,375
Foster Care/Cradle Care - $65 per day
Medicaid (if the baby is placed in NICU) - $250
Additional Post Reports and Updates- $775
We are so excited that you have stopped by to share in our journey to grow our family through adoption. Due to a medical condition, the chances of us having a child biologically are very low. Instead of pursuing years of medical testing and thousands (or tens of thousands) of dollars to confirm what doctors are already very confident in, we've chosen to pursue adoption!
After much prayer, discussion, and research, we've started the journey and are in the middle of completing the requirements of our Home Study.
Although adoption is exciting, it's also very expensive (between $30,000 - $50,000).
Every dollar counts and we're grateful for everyone who gives or shares our campaign.
We covet your prayers as we continue to trust in God's timing and look forward to our greatest adventure yet! ❤️
If we somehow raise more than we end up needing, all excess funds will be donated to another couple's adoption fundraiser to help them on their journey.
The wonderful agency we're working with is Heart of Adoptions, we would recommend them to anyone considering adoption.
