Daris' 2nd Open Heart Surgery Fund

Daris has a rare heart condition called Hypertropic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy, which is a condition that causes Daris' heart to create muscle obstructions in the chambers of his heart. This condition leaves Daris in a state where he more often than not, feels out of breath, heaviness in his chest, and light headed. Daris tries to push through, but it leaves him severely limited in what he can do. HOCM, also has a direct link to Sudden Death, which we try not think about and avoid at the same time. 
In Feb 2015, Daris had his first myomectomy, which is a procedure where surgeons cut away the muscle obstructions from the wall of his heart to allow blood flow to be unobstructed. Daris had complications and tests showed earlier this year that it had not removed all of the obstruction. In fact, it is 3x larger than it was the first time his open heart surgery was completed. Now, in the middle of January, Daris will go in for his second open heart surgery to try to correct this obstruction. He will be in the hospital for over a week, and recovery could take up to 6 months. The reason I'm asking for this contribution, is because I need to be with him during this week, which means I can't be at work. I don't have vacation or medical paid time off, something I used during the first surgery. I am our only means of income. This money would be used to pay the bills that the week of work would normally pay. It would help me get Ella to people who could watch her while I'm in the hospital with Daris. It would help buy food for our family. If you know us, you know we don't ask for money. We try to make it by on our own. We save and cut back.
