Daoist Center Fundraiser
The Daoist Benevolent Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Daoist Priest Zhou Xuan Yun, dedicated to spreading the teachings of Daoism (Taoism) and traditional Chinese culture.
For the last five years, DBA has been improving the health and quality of life of our local community by offering free tai chi and qigong classes (over 1,000 hours taught!) and by hosting Boston's annual World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Festival.
After years of teaching in parks and libraries, community centers and Jewish temples, the DBA is ready for a space of our own. The center will be used for tai chi, qigong, and kung fu workshops, as well as meditation retreats and Daoist ceremonies. It will be a home for students and teachers from around the world.
We have identified a property in rural Massachusetts, a little over an hour from Boston. $80,000 is needed for a down payment. There are also lawer's fees and closing costs. DBA has already raised $40,000. Zhou Xuan Yun will donate $30,000. We are $20,000 away from making this center a reality!

If donations exceed the campaign goal, all extra funds will be put towards furnishing the center.
