Help Danny Beat Cancer
Donation protected
My husband, Danny, was having very bad headaches for a couple of weeks. He eventually started throwing up, getting dizzy, falling, etc. He went for a doppler scan on his neck and everything was fine. A week later he had an mri and within 2 hours they called to say he had a mass on his brain. We were sent for a chest xray which showed nothing. Four hours after the chest xray Danny was admitted to the hospital where they started him on steroids and later did a ct scan. That evening we were told that he had a 1 inch tumor on his brain and that it was inoperable. The next morning we were told that he had lung cancer and that it was about the size of a golf ball. Tomorrow morning radiation will be started on the tumor on his brain and an hour later he will start chemo. The radiation will be 15 or 16 treatments but we don't know about the chemo yet. Hopefully, we will get some more answers when we talk to the oncologist tomorrow.
Danny has gone from not being to the doctor in 40 years to having been too many times to count over the last few weeks, and from not taking any medicine to taking about 13 different ones now.
We have no idea what we are facing as far as his doctor bills, treatment bills, pharmacy bills, hospital bills, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will update on his progress as we learn more.
