Danie's Road to Recovery!

On Saturday April 15th, 2017 Danie's life drastically changed when the vehicle that he was riding in with two friends was hit by a drunk driver in Hermiston, Oregon.
Sitting in the front passenger seat, Danie took most of the impact of the hit and had to be extracted from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life, which after was life flighted to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Washington (215 miles from home in Portland, OR).
Danie's injuries include multiple and deep lascerations to his face, broken nose and right hand (in multiple areas), dislocated and broken hip, and lascerations to his liver and spleen along with multiple scraps, cuts and bruises all over his body.
This accident impacted more then his body and physical abilities. Danie is going to be in the hospital for a while and afterwards will be on the road to recovery for the next year. In the meantime his bills and other expenses will add up and need to be paid. We are asking for help with this expenses so we can keep his life somewhat normal over his recovery time and things are not lost or stopped during his recovery.
On the legal side of things - there is a law suit pending for the accident, but as you all know that those things take time. We are trying to gather enough financial help to be able to get the help that Danie needs in the meantime while the legal matters are in process.
We appreciate all the help that we can get more than words can express. Danie is an amazing son, brother, uncle etc.. and all around a great kid, this is going to be a long and hard road to recovery and the more support the better.
