The Daniel Island Community Foundation is a nonprofit corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of South Carolina. This private 501 (c) 3 organization is financially supported by donations from Daniel Island Residents, businesses and employees.
The Daniel Island Community Foundation was set up as a vehicle to fund non-profit initiatives. A resident advisory committee has been established to assist in identifying charitable causes and organizations important to Daniel Island residents.
Annually, the cumulative tax deductible gifts that are donated to each of the below featured nonprofits will be matched up to $5,000 by the Daniel Island Community Fund.
About Daniel Island School:
The Daniel Island School opened in August 2006 and was built to hold 1,200+ students. When they opened their doors in the 2006 we served 575 students. The community has continued to grow and they currently serve over 1,400 students in grades K through 8th. Their modern facility is approximately 190,000 square feet and offers the latest in technology and space utilization for their students.
