 NEW YORK, NY
Our dear friend Danny Weiss was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident whereby he sustained massive injuries to nearly half of his body. He was airlifted from the accident and is currently being held in the ICU, undergoing many surgeries to steady his condition. He is not out of the woods yet, but we can only have faith that Danny will make it through. Furthermore, medical and recovery costs are mounting quickly, and it will be a long and arduous road to recovery for Danny. We implore you all to help with whatever you can to get our friend back on his feet as soon as possible.

Danny has touched the lives of many, be it through years of skateboarding, racing motorcycles, or by way of his exceptional work as a photographer. It's time to give back and help return such a beloved individual to health.

Hi everyone,

Danny has been moved to Burke Hospital in White Plains, NY. From what I understand, he has therapy 6 days a week until 4:30pm and dinner at 5:30pm. Apparently, he can have visitors after dinner till about 8pm but the best day is Sunday when he doesn't have rehab. Also, he is not allowed to have his cell phone for texts or calls right now, so hold off on trying to contact him while he's focused on recovery.

Will try to update more frequently with news of his rehab progress.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates.

Danny is officially "out" of his coma, and making significant cognitive and physical progress! His family is going to hopefully move him to a facility in NYC soon. He has a long road ahead of him but he has a great medical and support team taking care of him.

Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions.

Hi everyone, some good news from the hospital.
Chuck saw him this morning and said, "He was alert as we've seen him, tracking him and the nurses with his eyes. He squeezed my fingers, and wiggled his toes on command from the trauma doc. He had no fever last night, which is a nice relief.'"

He will be in surgery today for several hours, as of 11:30am this morning NY time. Please keep Danny in your thoughts today.

Also, if you're in New York, Ted Barrow is hosting a drawing salon to benefit Danny. Please check it out: https://www.instagram.com/p/BEthjhoM-0L/?taken-by=tedbarrow&hl=en

And finally! Since he's been more responsive, Danny's father thought it might be nice to read him any cards people might want to send.
