You're right if you guessed that in June I will be leaving for South Asia to spend a year with International Justice Mission (IJM) as an Aftercare Fellow working with survivors of sex trafficking.
IJM is a non-profit Christian human rights agency whose vision it is to rescue thousands, protect millions, and prove that justice for the poor is possible.
The Aftercare Fellowship will involve helping with the care and support survivors need to begin to heal from trauma and adjust to a new life of freedom.
I will leave in June and be gone for a year.
This is an unpaid fellowship and I need to raise funds for travel and living expenses while I am there. IJM recommends raising $20,000, so that's where I'm starting.
